  • Monitor and Maintain all building networks and equipment
  • Wire, and make additional connections
  • 24 hour, 7 day support for public safety networks


WIDE AREA NETWORKS

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and assist providing vendor of fiber optic network
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the city's own microwave wireless backbone network
  • Monitor and assist Police and Fire with Radio Over IP service over the city microwave wireless backbone network
  • 24 hour, 7 day support for public safety building feeds
  • Configure, deploy and maintain VPN connections over Internet services for temporary & small facilities


INTERNET

  • Maintain and monitor firewall
  • Maintain content filter system for restricted material
  • Host and maintain most City and School websites
  • Maintain email servers and services for all City and School employees


NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
